Compression rate a little bit worse

Hi,

i compared the compression rate of ZipStorer and 7-zip. At 7-Zip i got around aabout 93-95%, with zipstorer a got 83-86%.

We hav a lot of larger Excel-Files to be zipped an send via Email (cause of customers wishes)

So we got 4-5 MB with ZipStorer, but 2-2,5 MB with 7-ZIp.

Is it possible to set the compressionrate?

Best regards Hipp

Hi Hipp,

Zipstorer is based on the .Net native DeflateStream class. The whole intent is to provide a zip management class in one file. I have not control over the compression rate of DeflateStream.
